Luka Filips

Founder at Enki Digital

I’m passionate about ensuring digital technologies are used to achieve socially meaningful business outcomes.

Acting on my business tech interests, I completed university studies in Marketing Science, Business Management, and Commercial Law at Monash University. This developed my understanding of how small businesses operate and the challenges they face in the digital landscape. After excelling as a top-performing student, I completed a Master of Laws on scholarship to King's College London, where I researched and authored a 15,000-word Emerging Technology Law dissertation paper exploring how distributed ledger technologies (DLT) can make commercial contracts more equitable.

Working as a commercial and digital marketing consultant, I have advised various small businesses on their digital strategies. Given my specialist knowledge in digital business, I understand how AI will continue to transform the business world. I feel a professional duty to help ensure emerging technologies are effectively implemented for the benefit of wider society.

I founded Enki Digital to democratise artificial intelligence (AI). I want to help ensure the equitable adoption of AI by making its implementation accessible and valuable for small businesses.

Small businesses make up 90% of businesses worldwide and more than half of all employment. Yet, most businesses I advise suffer from digital exclusion due to resource limitations and current commercial structures. I believe small businesses have a right to access transformative AI tools. Over years of academic research and international networking, I have curated a team of trusted AI transformation advisors to help me achieve this mission.
